Relationships & Personality Patterns
Seeing ourselves and others with greater understanding.
Relationships can be deeply meaningful and, at times, difficult to navigate. Strong emotions, misunderstandings, and recurring patterns can make it challenging to feel understood or connected.
Through a Mentalizing Lens
Mentalization-Based Treatment places particular emphasis on our capacity to understand ourselves and others as people with thoughts, feelings, needs, and perspectives that may differ from our own.
When emotions run high, that understanding can become more difficult.
MBT explores these moments collaboratively, helping us pause, question assumptions, and become curious about what may be happening within ourselves and our relationships.
The goal is not to decide who is right or wrong, but to make space for more than one perspective.
